Committee Culture, Youth, Aging, Sports, and Parks

The Committee on Culture, Youth, Aging, Sports, and Parks has scheduled a hearing on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, 10:00 A.M. in the Frits E. Lawaetz Legislative Conference Room on St. Croix to receive testimony and updates regarding the progress and challenges associated with the upcoming 175^th Anniversary of the Emancipation Celebration. We will receive information from representatives of the 175^th Emancipation Commemoration Committee, local government agencies, committees, and commissions with jurisdiction and roles over the 175^th Emancipation Celebration, and other organizations and stakeholders relevant to this historic event.
