Creque Conference Room to host a Taxi Association Town Hall Meeting centered on the enhancement of transportation services and the continued growth of the territory’s tourism industry.

The meeting brought together taxi operators, government representatives, and community stakeholders to discuss strategic plans aimed at improving transportation efficiency, upgrading existing operations, and preparing for the expected rise in visitor arrivals. The agenda also included efforts to elevate customer service standards and expand payment options for passengers to provide a more seamless experience.

Senator Bolques emphasized that collaboration among transportation professionals, local businesses, and residents is essential to shaping the future of tourism and mobility across the Virgin Islands. He reaffirmed the Legislature’s commitment to ensuring that the voices of service providers and business owners are fully included in decisions that affect the island’s economic and tourism development.
