Committee on Education and Workforce Development

The Committee will receive testimony from the Virgin Islands Department of Education and the Board of Education regarding the following:

1. Condition of school facilities throughout the territory.
2. Status of the John H. Woodson Junior High School.
3. Renovation of bathrooms at St. Croix Central High School and St. Croix Educational Complex High School.
4. Student achievement and actions to close the learning gaps.
5. Effectiveness of I-Ready Program and Intervention Blocks.
6. Parent Engagement in Schools.
7. Matters of concern the Board of Education may have.
