
The 35th Legislature of the Virgin Islands will hold a press conference concerning its participation at the 39th N.O.B.E.L. Women’s Annual Legislative Conference. The press conference will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 10:30AM, at the Westin Frenchman’s Reef Hotel on the Sunset Sea Cliff Terrace.
The National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women’s Annual Legislative Conference is the organization’s national meeting where more than 150 Black women legislators join industry leaders and stakeholders from around the United States of America. Hundreds of attendees are expected to attend the four-day conference to learn about the challenges facing Black America.
Established in 1985, the conference provides the platform for collaboration and policy development to occur among national, state, and local leaders and their constituents through regional forums, national summits, and policy centered conferences.
Senator Donna A. Frett-Gregory who serves as conference chair and Senator Marise C. James who serves as conference vice chair, will be joined by the President of NOBEL Women, Honorable Tonya Anderson, State Senator from Georgia and other members of the NOBEL Women Board.
The 39th N.O.B.E.L. Women’s Annual Legislative Conference will be held at the Westin Frenchman’s Reef Hotel on St. Thomas from August 6-10, 2024.
