Committee on Government Operations and Consumer Protection

The Committee on Government Operations & Consumer Protection has scheduled a meeting for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall, St. Thomas. The purpose of the meeting is to receive testimonies on the operations of the following agencies:

• West Indian Company Limited (WICO)
• The Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission
• The Virgin Islands Port Authority
• The Virgin Islands Department of Tourism

The Committee will receive testimony on the West Indian Company Limited (WICO) operations to include but not limited to enabling law and jurisdiction, current agency challenges and plan of action to resolve challenges.

The Committee will receive testimony on the Division of Festivals operations to include but not limited to enabling law and jurisdiction, current agency challenges and plan of action to resolve challenges.
